Pucara, a quiet town in the Andean region of Peru, is famous for its ceramic production, a tradition dating back at least 2500 years. This artistic form has been inherited through hundreds of generations, sustained with the belief that it provides new marriages with fertility, prosperity, happiness and home protection. Pucara Bull are given as gifts to be traditionally placed on the roof of the houses, near the main entrance, as a symbol of these virtues.
